Tanner's Typical Day - Stop Motion Skills Development Task

Evaluation The task was to creating a stop motion short film using Lego as apart of skills development. The process started with planning out what to use for the stop motion, we had an option between using Lego or Plasticine but we all ended up going for Lego. We all started to build up the characters, scenery and set pieces and around that, a story for the film emerged. A script was also beginning to build up which mainly included the insults for the main character, Tanner was going to say along with the characters he interacts with. Foley sounds were also being researched as especially the animals needed sound effects to be added so it didn't sound completely silent. Before we started any work on the stop motion frames, I did a few tests using Lego figures I already had at home, this was done so we could indicate what frame rate looked the smoothest. To decide which sales route would be best for your business, you first need to consider: Are you selling to consumers, other firms or the national/local government? I am primarily selling to consumers as the consumers would mainly be the ones to watch the animations. Other firms might be as they may want to advertise their branding through our services and national local governments may not be interested in my business as they would already have what we offer (via their own marketing team). Do your customers have to be actively persuaded to buy your product or do they need to buy it anyway? No, they would necessarily need to be actively persuaded to buy my product as my product is a mixture between purchasing it for your own reasons or watching it for entertainment and by watching your own projects specifically can give us money in a less demanding way (through video monetisation or optional donations on pages). A business plan is a written document with goals towards a business and financials. While a business idea is just a concept revolving around a product and building business from that. Business Plan - detailed written document, before you build up the business (e.g to show to investors) Business Idea - a concept for an existing business.

A business that mostly revolved around animation and illustration. Clients would contact about ideas and this can range from but the company can also the team are allowed to make their own original content (e.g. short films). Team can work either in a building or remotely (but prefer in person) All important information would be found on a website The Original Content made by the team would be released anywhere (YouTube for example) and updates/work in progress on the project could be released behind inexpensive paywalls (like Patreon). Money can also come from client work which would be found to apply on the website. The business would be local as not many businesses in the area revolve around this concept Guides could be made on how to 2D animate so it engages more of an audience and might lead to more team members. The value statement - To provide easy communication and top quality animation to all of our clients, no matter what the project entails.

The vision statement can be very simple as it's only a brief insight into what you want for the business so they can aim for that achievement. While with the mission statement, it can go into more detail into what the business is both doing currently and wanting to do in the future in order to achieve what they have spoken about in their vision statement.
