Business idea/development notes

 

These notes were written down when discussing with classmates about my business idea.

Enhance

• Coming to the job without any plans/education
• No need for experience (when applying)
• Both a job + experience

Since on the side, I would like my business to be a business that helps people who have a passion to produce animations, even if they have no experience in making it.

Replace

• University applicants

Like mentioned in Enhance, since my business would have the teaching element. It could be a easier, more accessible and cheaper alternative to university.

Revive

• The use of 2D animation in the industry

Since the 2000's 2D animated content has been declining in the main industry of animation due to the popularity and interest in the new technique, 3D animation and now 3D is most common nowadays, so by having my business, this could ignite the need for 2D animation.

Backlash

• Overwhelming employees
• Office space
• Might get sued?
• Twitter
• Overwhelming clients

I think that if demand came in for my business, this could lead to the possibility of being overwhelmed by employees and clients which is something I don't want to aim for as I don't want employees being overworked and deadlines could be missed if loads of clients came in. If my business moved from remote to into a physical office space, there could be issues with employee room or rent. I also mentioned Twitter as there could be a very small chance of being contacted on Twitter about an issue with my business. Getting sued is a issue if legal issues are debated with clients or using material that isn't ours/isn't in public domain.
